ABOUT THE BODACIOUS BEAUTY BOUDOIR BOUTIQUE

Photographers worldwide have been reinventing traditional boudoir and pinup photography.  There has always been an allure around this style of photography, showcasing women wearing fun and sexy lingerie, bridal outfits or more theatrical costumes in an intimate setting.  Incorporating boudoir photography as a fun and flirty service seemed like a natural fit for The Bodacious Beauty.  It's "the icing on the cake!"  Women of all shapes, sizes, ages and occupations can experience a sense of increased confidence and empowerment when they get all dolled up and pose for the camera.  See our Expectations page for a closer look into our Boudoir Boutique and Photography Sessions.

About DeAnn

DeAnn Grasinger, the owner and founder of The Bodacious Beauty, has put a fantastic team together that includes professional photographers with plenty of experience shooting boudoir and pinup, very animated personalities and ability to capture women in ways they’ve never seen themselves. The photo editor for The Bodacious Beauty has extensive experience and training working as lead editor for top fashion magazines. The combination results in gorgeous, natural looking pictures with flawless skin and beautiful, rich colors.

DeAnn has been in the beauty industry for over 24 years.  Her dream started to blossom at the tender age of 13, while on a vacation with her Aunty Franny where she was first introduced to makeup.  DeAnn quickly realized that makeup was her passion and she began to learn everything she could about cosmetics and skincare.  She went on to work with her father in the insurance industry, and although not her first choice of jobs, she quickly learned from her father the importance of developing relationships with each and every client.  This has become the foundation of DeAnn's philosophy in doing business today.

Hundreds of Beauty Clients Nationwide

DeAnn has connected with hundreds of clients nationwide and has brought her passion and love of beauty to life! She has flourished in the industry and mastered makeup artistry, DiamondTome Microdermabrasions, and PCA Chemical Peels. She has worked as a makeup artist for several infomercials such as 6 Second Abs, Gliding Pro, and several other projects with FitFlix productions.

D’Lauren Cosmetics

In 1995 she created D’Lauren Cosmetics, which consists of pure mineral-based ingredients.  She is always changing the season’s color palette and chooses the hottest colors and makeup styles that are current with fashion and industry standards.  She believes the combination of regular Bodacious Beauty skincare treatments, combined with a home skincare regimen and “healthy” D’Lauren Mineral Makeup guarantees remarkable beauty.

Passionate About Beauty

During a time where life took an unexpected turn, with the loss of her father, she was searching for strength and new perspectives in life.  It was her best friend Lisa Hayes (who happens to be the first Bodacious Beauty) who encouraged her to never give up on her dreams. Lisa believed in the business so much that she wanted to become a partner. Both women have a passion for beauty, friendship and empowering women, and they have decided to add another element to The Bodacious Beauty..... boudoir photography and lingerie.  It is the ultimate reward for YOU, your husband, your fiancé....or....just a friend!!  Transform into your best self…capture it with a girly photo shoot dedicated to you and all you’ve become! 

DeAnn and Lisa are combining the “Best of Both Worlds” for women: a skincare and makeup boutique paired with sexy boudoir photography and lingerie.   They have decided to open their first Bodacious Beauty Boutique store front in Boulder, Colorado.  Together with Lisa and her family, DeAnn is poised for success to continue and expand her lifelong dream!

“Starting this new venture and new chapter in my life with my Dad's direction was so much fun. We collaborated daily by email contemplating names for my new business.  After many sleepless nights her name came to mind and "The Bodacious Beauty" was born! My Dad gave our girl her "Blue Eye.”  Fortunately he was able to see the entire image and logo before he passed away unexpectedly on September 23rd, 2008. I still have every email and look back on them often with fondness. "The Bodacious Beauty" is dedicated to my father, Ethan Allen. He saw the big picture and was so very excited about this venture.
