She has an exceptional story, remarkable photos and unique characteristics that demand to be noticed. She is a role model to other women, her family and friends, and she has integrity and confidence to boot. Sometimes, the most shy and uncertain woman can transform into a Boudoir Beauty as she is empowered by her experiences working with The Bodacious Beauty. After all, our goal is to give each and every woman the ability and confidence to be absolutely beautiful in her own unique way.
We can all learn a thing or two from these Boudoir Beauties!

My first experience at the Bodacious Beauty is really quite funny. I was indulging in a bit of well-needed retail therapy at the 29th Street Mall, when I discovered a spectacular bathtub in the window of a store that I wasn’t sure was opening or closing. If the store was closing, I was going to make an offer on that tub. I was positive that tub would fulfill every bubble-filled, candlelit, bath-time relaxation fantasy I’ve ever had. After a little research, I was able to get in touch with Ariane. She was way too kind to this random, bathtub stalker.
My disappointment in discovering the tub wasn’t available quickly gave way to excitement when Ariane explained to me the concept of the store. She invited me to see the store prior to the grand opening. Like I said; she was way too kind. She showed me the store, talked of the services they were going to offer, showed me some of the previous boudoir photos, and I fell in love. I felt beautiful just by walking in the store. I had never considered a boudoir shoot in my life, even though my husband of 24 years had been suggesting it for years. I booked my shoot that day. I felt I could trust these women to treat me well, maintain my dignity, and bring out the woman in me that has been pushed to the absolute back of my life. They did not disappoint. I felt beautiful when I walked in, during the shoot and when I left. It was an amazing experience.
If you’re like me, too much mirror-time is spent searching for the flaws that need to be hidden. A laugh-line here, some lack-of-sleep-puffiness there; it really comes down to just trying to patch together a somewhat respectable face for the day. As a mother, wife and small business owner, time constraints have trained my eyes to spot problems quickly. Unfortunately, it doesn’t take long before the only thing you see in the mirror is the mosaic of flaws each morning presents.
Sometimes it takes the talents of wonderful people like Ariane, DeAnn, and Molly to show you what you really look like; and to find the Bodacious Beauty hidden under the stress of each day.
My favorite female icon? I’d love to say someone like Audrey Hepburn or Oprah, but it really has to be my grandmother. She was the first woman to stress to me the importance of taking care of myself and not feeling guilty about spending the “lady-time” a woman needs. I remember her always telling me, “You only have one face, take care of it.” Thank you, Grandma!
My favorite quote? Aside from my grandmother’s words, my children will tell you it’s “Go big, or go home!” I am a firm believer in the idea of either being the biggest fool or the greatest success, but put everything you have into everything you do.
